A ‘MONDAY Funday’ event chased away post-weekend blues at a community centre in Warwick.
The event organised by Packmores Community Centre included taster sessions with Coventry professional boxer Michael Blackstock and anti-knife and bullying prevention talks by Sam Rowe – founder of The Academy of Hard Knocks. Sam’s programme, based in London, aims to cut youth crime by teaching young people fitness and martial arts.
Other activities included an inflatable bungee, ‘splat the rat’ game, a bouncy castle and a barbecue.
And a raffle raised £80 for the centre to continue its community work.
