FUNDING is available for projects to prevent suicides in the region.
Coventry and Warwickshire Health and Care Partnership Mental Health Programme is offering grants up to £10,000 for community, voluntary or charitable groups.
Lead Psychologist at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust Dr Dan Barnard said: “Many people in Coventry and Warwickshire have been struggling during the last few months in particular, with circumstances which can lead them to think there is no other way out than suicide.
“We would like to hear from local organisations which consider themselves to have contact with people who are at risk of suicide. This may include support for people who have been directly or indirectly impacted by Coronavirus.”
