FUNDRAISERS are being called to make a splash for Myton Hospices.
The virtual Swim for Myton event is now open and swimmers can choose one of four distances or take on the team challenge to bank vital funds for charity.
Participants can take to the pool between now and December 1 and all cash raised in sponsorship will help ensure Myton can continue to support patients and their families when they need them most, now and in the future.
Registration for the event costs £5 and the distances are 8km – the equivalent of Draycote Water, 16km – the same as Windermere, 34km – the length of The Channel, and The Leam – 53km.
The Thames Team Challenge is 346km.
Alternatively, fundraisers can pick their own distance to complete.
