KENILWORTH lions are celebrating a record breaking fundraising year.
The club, which is part of worldwide Lions International organisation, raised nearly £45,000 in 2017.
Fundraisers including the furniture store, carol concert and duck race have helped a number of community projects from Kenilworth Helping Hands to the admirals nurse service at the Waverley Day Centre.
Other organisations awarded donations include Kenilworth RFC Under-12 and eating disorder support service Tastelifeuk.
And students helping out at the furniture store as part of their Duke of Edinburgh awards – Max Bednall, Finn Donaldson, James Hall and Ben ViPond – were also praised for their help.
