AN AUTOMOTIVE firm in Kenilworth is testing the future of turbo technology.
Aeristech has been developing electric superchargers for almost a decade, and has now invested £66,000 in a new test cell facility at its base in Princes Drive to provide full data on how technology can perform throughout the lifetime of a vehicle.
The firm has been assisted by the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP Growth Hub with a successful grant application of £26,000 through the Warwickshire County Council fund.
The money has been used to kit out the test facility with the latest equipment, resulting in the company expanding its number of staff by three to 18 in total.
It is predicted the advanced technology – which will help reduce emissions – could be on the road by 2020.
