A GENEROUS Leamington-based company have completed 90 gestures of goodwill to commemorate the Queen’s 90th Birthday.

Squab and Box-it, who specialize in removals and storage, spent a year achieving their pledge, and helped numerous national and local charities including Myton Hospice, Warwick and Leamington Food Bank, and Leamington Night Shelter.

Goodwill gestures included helping neighbours, friends and even strangers with everything from gardening to looking after pets, and even arranging a visit from Rio Olympic hockey gold medallist, Lily Owsley, who attended a training session of Leamington Hockey Club’s juniors.

Managing Partner Emlyn Evans, said: “We are so proud of this team achievement which is a testament to the caring ethos our people have throughout our Squab and Box-it businesses. We have thoroughly enjoyed and embraced the challenge. It has produced a real ‘feel good’ factor while helping others around us.”
