Go the distance for The Myton Hospices this March

THE MYTON Hospices are calling on supporters to go the distance in March.

They are urging fund-raisers to be part of #TeamMyton and run, walk or jog 26.2 miles – a Myton Marathon – during the 31 days of the month to help raise funds for the charity.

Raise a minimum of £75 in sponsorship and particpants will get a free Myton water bottle. The highest fund-raiser will also win four tickets to Warwick Castle.

Catherine Stuart-Yapp, events fund-raiser for The Myton Hospices, said: “Whether you want to run, walk or jog, complete a marathon in a day or a little bit each day of March, all we ask is that you complete the grand total of 26.2 miles throughout the month and help us raise as much money as possible in sponsorship so we can continue to provide our services free of charge to people living with a terminal illness, and their families, across Coventry and Warwickshire.

“What better reason to use the onset of spring and the lighter nights to throw yourselves into the challenge and go that extra mile – 26.2 of them to be precise – for the cause. Every penny raised really does make a big difference – thank you and good luck from all of us at Myton.”
