FOODIES are being offered a fine dining culinary trip around the globe in aid of charity.

Leamington Spa Regency Rotary Club are partnering with Parkinson’s UK to host a three course meal courtesy of some of the town’s independent restaurants.

Diners will be treated to a gourmet world safari from Italy to Thailand via France all in one evening on October 17, starting at 6.30pm.

A drinks reception will begin the evening at Leamington Tennis Court Club on Bedford Street. And from there, hosts will guide guests around town to the participating restaurants including Sabai Sabai, Momenti, Eleven and Oscars.

Money raised will be shared between Parkinson’s UK and Leamington rotary club’s chosen charities, Warwickshire Young Carers and Mencap.

Rotary club president Sabrina Marnham said: “‘A Taste of Leamington’ is a really exciting event for both our club and the town. It showcases the best of independent restaurant dining, giving diners the opportunity to visit three different restaurants for a special experience. Last year we raised over £1,500 and everyone enjoyed themselves! We are incredibly grateful to our key sponsors, Taylor Wimpey and Brooks Macdonald, who have been very generous in helping us fund the costs of staging the event.”
