GLITZ and glamour is the theme of a ball being held to raise money for Warwick Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit.
The Great Gatsy inspired event will be held on Friday September 20 at Chesford Grange in Kenilworth.
It is the latest fund-raiser organised by local mums Lucy Field and Nicki Scott – whose daughters Evie and Izzy both received life-saving treatment on the unit.
The pair have raised some £30,000 for the hospital through events including SCBU Fest and the Sparkle and Shine Ball.
Nicki said: “The love the staff have for the babies that come into their care reflects in the fact that there are still midwives and nurses working at SCBU today who looked after my tiny little girl.
“I will never be able to thank them enough for what they did for her and what they continue to do every day.”
Tickets to the ball cost £60 and must be booked before Saturday (August 17).
