A DOG called Harry Potter cast a spell on stressed MPs in parliament.
The four-year old Chihuahua therapy dog took time off from his day job visiting patients on the children’s wards of Warwick and Solihull hospitals to head to London.
The dog and his owner Jane Neary, from Hatton, visited parliament as part of their volunteer work with charity Therapy Dogs, in a bid to de-stress MPs.
Among those to receive some pet therapy were Boris Johnson, secretary of state for Health Matt Hancock and Warwick and Leamington MP Matt Western.
Tiny Harry was one of one of 13 to be invited along with his owner to visit parliament. Another of the dogs attending was a huge Great Dane.
And now Harry is back home in Hatton he will be returning to work – supporting hospital patients and also visiting nearby care homes, schools, hospices and prisons.
Jane told the Observer: “We had a great day in London and both loved it.
“Therapy dogs are all doing the same job of being non judgemental and giving unconditional love to those who need it.
“Harry is so amazing, people love seeing him and he has the perfect temperament.”
