Hatton Country World reopens this week

Laura Kearns 18th Jun, 2020   0

HATTON Country World is reopening this week.

The shopping village and adventure world will open its doors on Friday (June 19) with social distancing measures in place.

The 20 shops will be open seven days a week with Hatton Adventure World open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

New safety measures will include social distancing markers, hand sanitiser stations, one-way systems, till screens and contactless payments.

Owner Johnnie Arkwright said “The health and safety of our visitors and staff is of paramount importance. Our acres of open space and bags of fresh country air are perhaps our greatest attributes now. Supporting small local businesses at times like this is in the forefront of everyone’s minds and in return we hope to bring back those happy days of countryside fun”.

Internal areas of the adventure world will remain closed but visitors can see the animals and the Old Nature Trail to Hatton Locks and back has been reintroduced.

Strawberry picking and takeaway food is also available.

Prices for Hatton Adventure World have been reduced to reflect the absence of shows and indoor entertainment.

Tickets must be booked online so numbers can be controlled, and social distancing maintained.
