SOUTH Warwickshire Foundation Trust (SWFT) will continue to provide health visitor services across Warwickshire.
The trust has won a bid to run the Warwickshire County Council service over the next two years and bosses say it gives them the opportunity to influence health and wellbeing at an early age for children and their families.
The trust now carries out services for authorities across the region, including health visiting services for Solihull council and school nursing in Coventry.
Chief executive Glen Burley said: “The teams are absolutely delighted to be able to continue to provide health visiting services across Warwickshire and have been key to delivering a plan that meets the requirements Warwickshire County Council set out for the local area.
“I recently held some staff engagement sessions and I have been overwhelmed with the positive, innovative ideas that our staff have working in these areas and look forward to supporting them to deliver these for young people across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull. ”
