HELP is needed to create a commemorative poppy display at St Mary’s Church in Warwick.
The church aims to have some 11,500 poppies in their display, which will be in memory of men from the Royal Warwickshire Regiment who lose their lives in the First World War.
And people are invited to help make knitted, crocheted, felt or paper poppies at a free craft session at the town’s Fusilier Museum.
The poppy making event will be held for people of all ages and abilities between 11am and 3.30pm on Saturday October 7.
Materials, templates and patterns will be provided.
A spokeswoman said: “Chat, participate and share arts and crafts skills in a friendly atmosphere with other people from the community. Everybody is welcome to take part.”
