TOWNSPEOPLE are being urged to help shape Leamington’s future.
An open day to help draw up the Royal Leamington Spa Neighbourhood Plan is being held at the town hall on Saturday January 14.
Neighbourhood planning is a key component of the Government’s Localism Act, which aims to devolve greater powers to councils and neighbourhoods.
The plan will cover everything from green spaces and sustainable transport, to housing and leisure facilities.
The open day will be a chance to share ideas and opinions. There will also be activities for children, quizzes, prizes, crafts, a graffiti wall, and the Leamington Wish Tree between noon and 5pm.

Once complete, the Neighbourhood Plan will sit alongside Warwick District Council’s Local Plan to be used in determining new development proposals.
