HIGH-FLYING students at Warwick School and King’s High School are celebrating university offers from Oxford and Cambridge.

The 11 students from the two Warwick-based schools have their sights set on the two prestigious institutions to study chemistry, engineering, modern history, maths and music.

Anson Lei, Ross Perry, Ben Rhodes, Tom Steeley, Timothy Tam, Jintong Du, Anna Ellwood and Lucy Evans all received offers from Oxford while Cambridge offered places to Morgan Barnden, Henry Day and Oliver Layzell.

Gus Lock, Warwick School head said: “I remain incredibly proud of the achievements of all our pupils and I am delighted that, against incredibly fierce international competition, these students have secured offers from these prestigious universities.”

And King’s High head Richard Nicholson added: “Every year our girls secure places at exceptionally competitive universities – we are proud of all that they achieve.

“The girls who have offers to Oxford deserve our congratulations, as we know just how demanding an application and interview process it is.”
