HISTORY is going digital in a new project launched by Warwickshire County Council.
The Warwickshire Bytes project aims to gather stories commemorating anniversaries such as the Armistice centenary, to tales about the county’s industrial heritage and everyday life, to make them accessible online.
And residents are invited to Leamington Library on Thursday February 7 between 10.30am to 12.30pm to find out more.
Visitors will also have a chance to discover amusing historical accounts – from a runaway car on the Parade in 1940 to the mystery behind an ‘errand-boy’ losing control of his bicycle in 1938.
