THE MYTON Hospices is urging supporters to put their best virtual foot forward.
After having to cancel its popular Walk for Myton event last month, the charity is encouraging people to take part in the Virtual Walk for Myton.
The charity still wants people to be able to support them through fund-raising events, while staying safe, and is asking people to complete a three, six or 12 mile route of their choice in aid of Myton.
The charity has also created new versions of the usual Walk for Myton routes, if people want to use them, starting from St Nicholas Park in Warwick instead of the hospice.
The event is free to sign up to but the charity relies on people raising sponsorship or making a donation to help reach its fund-raising target.
Now more than ever Myton needs help to raise vital funds so it can continue its response to Covid-19 and support more people with life limiting and terminal illnesses, now and in the future.
With £9.2 million to raise this year in order to continue providing its services free of charge, every penny raised in sponsorship or donated makes a difference
