Indecent exposure incidents in Leamington could be linked

A SERIES of indecent exposure incidents in Leamington may be linked, police say.

It comes after a man made sexually inappropriate comments to a woman as she walked along Milverton Hill on Monday, January 12.

The 18-year-old woman was called over by a man in a parked car who spoke with a foreign accent, was white, in his 20s, of chubby build with messy brown/ginger hair, and stubble.

The car was a distinctive left hand drive silver Estate with a foreign registration plate.

Police believe the incident could be linked to four similar incidents that took place towards the end of last year.

Two women reported being called over by a man in a silver or white car while walking along Radford Road, near the Plough and Harrow pub in two separate incidents, which took place at 7.25pm and 7.40pm on November 13.

On both occasions, having asked them for directions, the man was then seen performing a lewd act.

A similar incident was also reported on Saturday, November 22 around 12.30pm on Wharf Street and again on St Mary’s Road around 5.10pm on Wednesday, December 10.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Collette O’Keefe on 01926 684227.
