BOND cars pulled up at Warwick School to help pupils engineer a possible future.

The Aston Martin DB10 of 007 in the latest Bond film Spectre, together withof Bond villain Mr Hinx, were both on display at the school as part of an engineering careers day.

Andy Palmer, CEO of Gaydon-based Aston Martin attended and gave an inspiring talk.

Others major names attending included Jaguar Land Rover, Triumph, Severn Trent, and BAE Systems, together with many local companies. All gave their time to chat to and advise pupils interested in engineering.

Caty Oates, Warwick School head of Careers, said: “At a time when there is a shortage of young people entering the world of engineering this event is particularly relevant.

“This is the second careers networking event the school has hosted and plans to offer more of these events, in a wide variety of sectors in the future.”
