A JEWELLERY store was targeted by attempted robbers in a Christmas Eve raid.
Two people on a green Kawasaki motorbike drove towards the shop on Talisman Square at around 4pm on Tuesday (December 24).
The passenger got off the bike and tried to go into the store. He left empty handed after being stopped from entering.
Det Insp Collette O’Keefe said: “Fortunately, nobody was injured but staff were left badly shaken. Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the people responsible.”
Police are calling for anyone with information to call them on 101 or ring 0800 555 111 to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
