KENILWORTH Lions Club are making dreams come true.
The club has awarded the first two grants under its new ‘Dream Scheme’ in celebration of its 50th anniversary.
Northleigh House School – which helps children recover from anxiety and trauma associated with bullying – has been given £1,000 towards the costs of providing a building dedicated to music.
And a second sum of £1,000 has been pledged to the dance group TWDA Competition Squad, which is raising funds to perform at Euro Disney in France. The group has already passed the auditions.
The club is inviting others to apply before the closing date on March 1.
