Kenilworth Lions' Furniture Store to reopen this weekend

Leamington Editorial 28th Jul, 2020 Updated: 28th Jul, 2020   0

KENILWORTH Lions will re-open its second-hand Furniture Store at the weekend.

The Farmer Ward Road store, which has been closed for more than four months, will reopen every Saturday morning from August 1, from 9am to 12.30pm.

To ensure the health and wellbeing of customers and volunteers, it has been necessary to make significant changes to the layout and operation of the store.

Admittance will be to individuals or couples only, with no children allowed on the premises, and dogs for the blind or disabled only. Visitor numbers will be strictly controlled, with queuing on the forecourt when necessary.

There will be temperature checks prior to entry, and visitors will be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided and to log their names and contact telephone numbers. Face coverings will always be required to be worn while in the store, and 2 metre social distancing followed.

The preferred method for payment for purchases will be by contactless card.

The Lions will be offering a weekday delivery service to home addresses within the usual delivery area, but to front doors or garages only.

But the store cannot offer a furniture collection service at this time.
