Kenilworth Lions turn the page for library following donation

LIONS volunteers were all talk when they made a contribution to Kenilworth Library.

The De Montfort Talking Books Service (DMTBS) was presented a donation of £650 from volunteers running the Bazaar shop at the Kenilworth Lions Store.

DMTBS is volunteer run, and holds a collection of some 5,000 book titles on tape cassette and MP3 memory sticks.

The donation will enable the service to buy around 60 new audio books to provide enjoyment to some 200 blind people who are members of the talking books library.

The Lions Bazaar at John Price House on Farmer Ward Road is open every Saturday morning between 9.30am and 12.30pm and sells collectables, crockery and other household items donated by members of the public.

Visit www.kenilworthlionsclub.co.uk for information on donating and volunteering.
