KENILWORTH Market has been cancelled after an amber weather warning was issued.
The market was set to take place tomorrow (Thursday March 1) but with threats of snow, strong winds and ice, the decision has been taken to cancel the event.
It is the second time this year the weather has forced the market shut due to the weather causing a health and safety risk.
A spokesman from organisers CJ’s Events said: “The forecast for the next few days cannot be ignored with an amber warning predicted for Thursday.
“This decision hasn’t been taken lightly and we’re very disappointed as this is now the second market this year which has been cancelled this year due to the snow. Traders have been contacted and appreciate the decision.”
