Kenilworth opticians set their sights on fundraising

Leamington Editorial 8th May, 2024   0

A NAME the teddy competition is running at Specsavers in Kenilworth in aid of Action for Children.

The generous opticians have their sights set on raising plenty of cash for the charity by running the competition through the school half term holiday from Friday May 24 until Friday May 31.

The person who guesses the correct name of the teddy will take it home as a prize.

Entry is £1 with all the cash going to Action for Children Kenilworth which provides local children and young people with practical and emotional support.

The profits of a cake sale held at the store on Friday (May 3) will be added to the fundraising total.

Store director Ambreena Bhatti said: “We feel incredibly passionate about the work that Action for Children do for the young people in our local community, and we are all really excited about raising money through these fundraising events.

‘Whether people want to purchase a sweet treat from the cake sale or have a go at guessing the name of our in-store teddy, we want to encourage both customers and the wider community to visit us in store and come together to raise as much money as possible for Action for Children.”
