TWO-LEGGED and four legged – thousands flocked to the annual Kenilworth Show at the weekend.

Warwickshire’s largest one-day agricultural show, which is organised by Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society (KADAS), was held at Stoneleigh Park on Saturday.

New features at the 73rd show included an education area, charity dog show, along with an expanded countryside area.

Main ring attractions featured the Bold Dog Lings with their thrilling motorbike displays, a dog and duck show demonstrating the art of working dogs, Warwickshire Hunt and Beagles and a grand parade of livestock.

Charlie Weetman, director of the Kenilworth Show, said: “We were delighted to welcome thousands of people along to the show, including a large number of first time visitors.

“The show has grown so much in the past few years, but the aim is always to give visitors a good understanding of what rural and country life is all about, in a fun and interesting way. Our new education area certainly played a big part in helping us to do that.

“I’m proud of everyone associated with Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society and the Kenilworth Show for the immense efforts they’ve made over the last year and would like to thank everyone joining us for being part of the day.”
