KENTUCKY Fried Chicken FC could be set to return to Leamington.
Speculation is mounting the fast food chain, which closed its Leamington Shopping Centre drive-thru’ in 2015, could soon open again at the site of the recently closed Frankie and Benny’s next door to KFC’s former outlet.
Job adverts have appeared for full and part-time at a KFC at the ‘Shires Retail Park’ in Leamington – which was the former name of Leamington Shopping Park.
But a spokeswoman for KFC refused to confirm whether it plans to open a new branch.
She said: “We’re always keeping our eyes peeled for development opportunities across the UK and we previously had a drive-thru restaurant in Leamington, so we’ve got our fingers crossed that there will be a chance for us to return to The Shires soon.”
