YOUNGSTERS are being urged to get creative at Leamington’s Royal Priors this month.
The shopping centre is hosting a free Kreative Kids’ Club comes to Royal Priors for a free summer of fun every Thursday in August from 11am to 4pm.
The elephant-themed events include everything from drama workshops to painting a huge elephant and creating a book.
Priors manager Gerry McCManus said: “The town has a fantastic history of when elephants used to visit as part of a travelling circus, and of course with the legendary local circus owner, Samuel Lockhart.
“The heritage of those visits can still be seen throughout Leamington, most notably with the famous Elephant Wash slipway. Our free summer fun has drawn inspiration from that, and we’ve got a great range of activity for children of all ages to take part in.”
