Leamington man jailed for child sex offences

A LEAMINGTON man has been jailed for child sex offences.

Paul Fryer, age 39 and formerly of Portland Street in Leamington was convicted at Warwick Crown Court for causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

At the hearing on Friday (November 3) he was sentenced to 3 years and 9 months imprisonment and served with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order until further notice.

Det Cons Paul Luke of Warwickshire Police said: “I know how difficult it can be for victims of sexual crimes to come forward – especially when those victims are young and vulnerable. However, we are committed to bringing to justice anybody who commits acts like these. If you have information about such cases, I’d urge you to report them to us.”
