A STROLL with friends saw Leamington mayor Bill Gifford raise £600 for his chosen charities.
Coun Gifford hosted a heritage charity walk to raise funds for chosen charities The Pam Britton Trust for Dementia and Springfield Mind.
Bill said: “The walk was followed by a vintage tea and historic talk by our guides from the Leamington History Group. It was a fantastic afternoon and I was overwhelmed by the amount of support we received to this sell-out event.
“I would like to thank our guides Barry and Michael who made it such a treat for all those who attended. Also, thanks go to everyone that bought tickets to support the event and whose kindness will see this money going to such worthwhile causes.”
