Leamington panto smashes fundraising targets

OH YES they did – The Royal Spa Centre in Leamington smashed its fundraising target with its most successful panto yet.

Jack and the Beanstalk raised over £9,000 for Leamington-based charity One World Link to support its ongoing work in the UK and Africa.

Audience collections every night, together with proceeds from the dress rehearsal “invited audience night” in early December all contributed to raising a grand total of £9,572.50.

And a total of 25,854 tickets were sold in the face of the difficulties faced by theatres and other entertainment venues since the rising costs of living.

Arts manager Paul Roberts said: “As our pantomime season ends, we are delighted to celebrate another hugely successful run at the Royal Spa Centre. Audience feedback has been better than ever before, and we are thrilled to have brought some festive cheer to everyone who joined us. We cannot wait to do it all over again with Beauty and the Beast in December 2024.”
