Leamington's Covent Garden Multi-storey car park reopens today

THERE are now even more parking spaces in Leamington.

Covent Garden Multi-Storey car park reopened today (Wednesday), providing just over 100 more parking bays in the town centre.

The car park closed in February 2023 leaving some of the surface area car park available for parking, but with the reopening of two floors and some clever use of the space, a further 100 spaces will be available for residents and visitors to the town to use when they visit local businesses and events.

There are still two floors which remain out of use, and Warwick District Council is assessing options for how they might be used.

The surface area car park has 89 spaces, which includes eight disabled bays and 15 created by clearing up the unsightly bin area and motorcycle bay.

The two levels that opened today have a total of 104 spaces which includes six parent and child bays.
