LEAMINGTON’S first Eco-Fun Day has been hailed a success.
Environmental charity Action21 was blessed with sunshine on Sunday as 100 people walked and cycled from Warwick to Leamington to mark the recent completion of the Riverside Walk lining the two towns.
The event included a nature trail organised by the Friends of Foundry Wood, and environmental displays in the Pump Rooms.
Chair of Action21 John Armstrong said: “I hope this can be the first of an annual series of such events; now people have got the idea we might look forward to even more participation next year.”
