Life-saving jewellery launched in Warwick district

Leamington Editorial 29th Nov, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

LOOKING good and staying safe is the double role of new potentially life-saving jewellery.

Warwick District Council’s Lifeline team – formerly called Warwick Response – have launched a new range of necklaces and watches which can be pressed to contact emergency services when the wearer falls.

Lifeline business manager Zoe Court said: “We are really excited about the new products and are working hard to raise awareness of this service locally.

“Lifeline is available to anyone living in the district who wants to stay living at home but may have health issues, a disability, be at risk of falling or living in a vulnerable situation living alone. Lifeline’s 24 hour service means they can feel more secure knowing that help is there at the press of a button.”
