Lighthorne Heath Primary School receives timely book donation

BOOKWORMS at Lighthorne Heath Primary School have some new reading matter.

The youngsters received a new collection of books for their library from Taylor Wimpey.

The school is near to Taylor Wimpey’s Valiant Fields development and the books were donated on World Book Day.

Associate Headteacher Jill Manley said: “I would like to say a big thank you to Taylor Wimpey on behalf of everyone at our school. We really appreciate the generous donation of books which will be added to the school’s library, and we hope this approach will inspire our pupils to enjoy reading and boost their literacy levels.”

Ben Walker, Taylor Wimpey’s Sales and Marketing Director, said: “We are delighted to support Lighthorne Heath Primary School and add new titles to their library. We do our best to support the good causes of those living in and around our developments, and we hope this book donation will allow all pupils to enjoy reading new books together.”
