Love at first sight for new owners of Dogs Trust puppies

IT WAS puppy love at first sight for families who started the year by finding a four-legged friend at Dogs Trust Kenilworth.

Five-month-old crossbreed pups Bella and Lillie were taken to the centre just before Christmas after their owner fell ill and was no longer able to care for them.

But the new year got off to a good start for the pair, who have now found loving homes with Chelsie Cosgrove from Coventry and Simone Bush and his family from Warwick.

Rehoming centre manager Emma Healey said: “We are so pleased that Bella and Lillie have found their forever homes and got the new year off to a cracking start. We know they’ll be very happy with their new owners.”

Last year Dogs Trust Kenilworth rehomed 1,400 dogs and is expecting another busy year finding homes for pups of all shapes and sizes.
