Loved ones to be remembered on Warwick's Light of Love Christmas tree

LOVED ones will be remembered on Warwick’s Light of Love Christmas tree once again this year.

Residents can purchase a card to place on the tree in exchange for a donation which will go to the Warwick mayor’s charities and The Myton Hospices.

Last year the campaign, organised by Warwick Rotary Club and Warwick Town Council, raised over £2,000.

Cards are available to fill in on Warwick Visitor Centre’s website.

And there are new lights on this year’s tree funded by Warwick Racecourse.

The lights will be illuminated at the Victorian evening on Thursday (November 23) and there will be a carol service of dedication on December 10 accompanied by the Community Band and the Emscote and All Saints Junior school choir.

Cards will stay on the tree until the New Year.

Names of those remembered will be shown next to the tree, and on the rotary website at www.warwickrotary.org.uk
