FRIDAYS in February will focus on local history at Leamington Art Gallery & Museum.
The free lunchtime Friday Focus talks will cover the town’s history, collections at the Pump Rooms and more starting at 1pm on February 10 with Warwickshire-based Peruvian and Japanese craft designer Milagros Kuga. She will explain the techniques and inspirations for her range of jewellery which is available from the gallery’s gift shop.
Curators Chloe Johnson and Alice Swatton will give a talk on the objects, prints and ceramics from the Pump Room collections which are currently on display as part of Journey Through Japan on February 17.
And Becky Hemsley, archive assistant at Warwickshire County Record Office, will discuss the LGBT resources and documents they hold in their collections on February 24.
