A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident at McDonalds drive thru in Leamington.
It happened inside the Queensway fast food restaurant shortly before 5am on Saturday morning.
An altercation took place which resulted in a man in his 30s suffering facial injuries which police say are not believed to be life-threatening.
The arrested man from Coventry remains in police custody.
Det Sgt Pete Sherwood: “We’d like anyone who saw the incident or was in the area to come forward. Any information, no matter how small, could be significant to our investigation.”
