Man arrested following Whitnash stabbing

A MAN has been arrested following a stabbing in Whitnash.

Police were called on Thursday (November 12) at around 9.40pm, to a report of a stabbing on Murcott Road East.

A man in his 20s was found with serious injuries to his arm. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.




Det Ins Collette O’Keefe said: “This was a serious incident and a number of enquiries are currently ongoing.

“At this time, it is being treated as an isolated incident with no risk to the wider public.


“We would ask anyone with any information, or anyone who was in the area last night and may have dashcam footage of the incident, to please come forward.”
