Man charged with GBH after fight outside Warwick pub

A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm without intent following an incident outside a Warwick pub.

Sean Edwards, of Hockley Road, Hatton, will appear before magistrates at the Warwickshire Justice Centre in Leamington on October 14.

Police were called to the Elephant and Castle pub in Emscote Road around 11.45pm on March 27 after a fight between two men broke out in the smoking area.

A 30-year-old from Warwick was unconscious and had to be taken to Coventry’s University Hospital where he was treated for a serious head injury.
