A MAN has been charged with raping a woman in Leamington.
Luke Kyberd, of The Beeches, was also charged with other offences including attempted rape and robbery.
It follows an incident on Queensway in on Wednesday evening (January 3).
The 29-year-old was remanded to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
Police had previously sought to reassure residents.
Det Ch Insp David Andrews, who is leading the investigation, said the public could expect to see a heightened police presence in and around the Queensway area.
