Man dies following three lorry crash on M40

A MAN has died after following a three lorry crash on the M40.

Emergency services were alerted around 2.30am this morning (Tuesday) to the scene on the northbound carriageway of the M40 between junctions 11 and 12 near Burton Dassett.

Two ambulances attended the scene along with police and fire services.

Sadly the man, and was confirmed dead at the scene.




A second lorry driver, a man in his 50s, was out of his vehicle when ambulances arrived and was treated for minor arm injuries and neck pain and discharged on scene.

A third patient with minor injuries was also treated.


The M40 northbound is closed between junctions 11 and 12 northbound, and is expected to remain closed for the next few hours.

Police are urging any witnesses to call the Warwickshire Police collision line on 01926 41541.
