A MAN has died following a crash on the M40 in Warwickshire.
Five other people have also been injured following two separate accidents on the same stretch of the northbound carriage last night.
The first call came at around 11pm, to a multiple pile-up, involving one HGV driver with serious injuries and another two with minor injuries. All were taken to hospital. A third was discharged at the scene.
The second call came after midnight, just before Warwick Services, where, sadly, a man was confirmed dead at the scene. A second HGV driver was described as ‘the walking wounded’.
A third driver was discharged.
