A BURGLAR has been jailed after pleading guilty to a number of offences.
Mark Andrew Coles of no fixed address, was jailed for three years after pleading guilty to handling stolen goods, and a number of driving and fraud offences.
The 34 year-old handled stolen vehicles from two homes in Albany Terrace and Leam Terrace in March this year.
He was sentenced to three years in prison at Coventry Crown Court on Tuesday (September 26).
He was also sentenced to six months for aggravated vehicle taking, six months for two counts of fraud, 12 months for three counts of driving while disqualified and was banned from driving for two years. The additional sentences will be served concurrently.
Det Cons Paul Luke said: “Our priority is to bring offenders to justice where possible and protect our communities from harm. I am very happy that the offender has been identified and justice has been done.
“I hope this sentence goes some way to not only reassure the public that we take burglaries seriously but also that we will always work to bring those responsible before the courts. Burglaries can have a distressing impact on victims and the offence is completely unacceptable.”
