Man needs surgery following suspected Leamington knife attack

A MAN suffered serious facial injuries following a suspected knife attack in Leamington.

Police are appealing for witnesses or information to the serious assault in an alleyway near to Avenue Road around 11.45pm on Sunday night.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries required surgery.

The suspects are described as two men – one was white, around 5’11” of slim build, and the other is believed to be black.




Police are currently treating it as an isolated incident.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or any suspicious behaviour in the area is urged to call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 496 of 12 July 2020.
