A 27-YEAR-OLD man had a glass bottle thrown at him while in a Leamington nightclub.
The incident is believed to have taken place between 2.30am and 2.40am on Sunday (August 7) at Altoria on Warwick Street.
It is understood the victim had been involved in an altercation with another man on the dance floor but sometime afterwards a bottle was thrown by an unknown person.
The man had to be taken to University Hospital in Coventry where he was treated for facial injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault to come forward.
