Man taken to hospital following suspected stabbing in Leamington

POLICE are investigating a suspected stabbing in Leamington

Officers were called at 10.50pm on Thursday (April 23) after a man in his 20s was found injured on Holly Walk.

It is believed the man had sustained a stab wound to his shoulder in an earlier altercation on Mason Avenue.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, and has since been discharged. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.




A 33-year-old man and a 58-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH. They are currently in police custody.

Anyone witnessed the incident or any suspicious behaviour in the area is urged to call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 447 of 23 April 2020.
