A MAN who tried to hide in a pub toilet in Leamington after a suspected drug deal has been arrested.
The 20-year-old made off after an eagle-eyed officer spotted an exchange in the crowded Pump Room Gardens yesterday (Monday).
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
Police also recovered around 60 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and, during a search of his home, counterfeit currency was also found.
