MODEL railway enthusiasts will need a sharp eye at the weekend.
Leamington and Warwick Model Railway Society host their annual exhibition on Saturday and Sunday (March 4 and 5) at Leamington College’s Warwick New Road site.
And among the exhibits will be an Inter-city “T” gauge locomotive. The “T” gauge is the smallest in the world and is powered by a similar motor to one found in vibrating digital watches.
More than 20 working layouts representing most modelling scales will also be on display and 35 specialist traders and other railway society groups will be taking part.
Club members’ work will be on display including a new layout of the former station at Kineton.
A special bus service will run between Leamington railway station and the college.
Admission is £7 (children £1). It opens from 10am to 5pm on the Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
